Well, I am now 6 weeks pregnant and beginning my seventh week. I still feel great! I don't want to jinx myself, but really the only symptoms I've been having is extreme fatigue, peeing a lot and some achiness in my upper legs, and pulling and stretching in my stomach. Really they are just "reminders" that I'm actually pregnant. Being tired all the time is the real reminder. I am usually fine in the morning but by the time work ends, I'm exhausted!! Working with 25 six year olds all day long is exhausting in itself but I'm not usually this tired. Now, I get home and rest until dinner. After dinner I usually last another hour or so before I'm asleep.
I've been reading a lot of books and online resources about pregnancy, trying to learn as much as I can. I'm making a point to eat really healthy and do everything I can to make this a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby!
We were perusing craigs list this morning just to see what was out there and found some guy in McLean selling a pack and play that is in great condition for $10. I thought it was a little early to be buying furniture, but this is such a bargain we can't pass it up! So we'll be going there tomorrow morning to make our first baby purchase! Oh well, second baby purchase - I did buy a red onsie that says "I may be little but I'm a big Capitals fan" - so cute!
No real noticeable changes in my stomach yet, except I notice the excessive bloating and my pants that fit great are now a little snug (I think due to the bloating).
